Community Sport & Leisure Facilities – Future-Proofing Infrastructure to Maximise Community Impact
Community sport and recreation facilities have long served as the foundation of active, healthy, and connected communities. However, as social expectations shift and participation habits evolve, the design, function, and operations of these assets must transform. The Community Sport & Leisure Facilities Stream 2 explores how local governments, state authorities, and operators can plan, develop, and manage multi-purpose, inclusive, and sustainable sport and leisure infrastructure that delivers long-term value to diverse communities.
