SPORT SURFACES - DESIGN & INNOVATION

An exploration of cutting-edge technology for quality assurance in sports surfaces. Visit natural, hybrid, and synthetic fields and discover the latest designs for tennis courts and activity areas, providing a comprehensive overview of the industry’s current sports surface landscape.
Tour sites include:
- Home of the Matildas - looking at hybrid, natural and synthetic surfaces with state of the art fields of play. We will also observe a maintenance demonstration by world renowned SMG group, working alongside Green Turf and Grassports.

COMMUNITY SPORT & LEISURE FACILITIES

Sustainable and functional design is the new generational thinking around community leisure centres. Exploring innovative approaches that will engage and encourage more people to be active, have fun and return more often.
Tour sites include:
- Fitzroy Sports Centre - Victoria’s first vertical sports centre, built in response to the demand for sports facilities in built up inner city areas.
- Northcote Aquatic & Recreation Centre - A state of the art facility in the heart of Northcote dedicated to promote health, wellbeing and lifelong learning, built in line with the latest innovations in sustainable design.
- URBNSURF - providing perfect ocean like waves in an authentic, safe and controlled environment, catering for all ages and abilities.
- Marvel Stadium - A world-class renovation has transformed Marvel Stadium main entry (Gates 2+3) into Stadium Square, a state of the art precinct combining live sports with an urban entertainment hub.
PLAY & PLAY ENVIRONMENTS
